~ Golem ~

A *Golem* is a creature from Jewish folklore, typically depicted as a humanoid figure crafted from inanimate material like clay or mud, brought to life through mystical or divine means. In tales, golems are created to serve and protect, often by a rabbi or spiritual leader who uses sacred words or inscriptions to animate them. While they are immensely strong and obedient, golems lack independent thought and can become dangerous if not carefully controlled. The most famous Golem legend is that of the Golem of Prague, created by Rabbi Judah Loew to protect the Jewish community from persecution.

In modern culture, golems represent themes of creation, the dangers of unchecked power, and the balance between human intention and unintended consequences. Often appearing in fantasy literature, games, and art, golems continue to symbolize the idea of crafted life and the boundaries between human and supernatural.
